Hey fam, thanks for checking out our new project!

PA–RC was formed with the intention of promoting presence and balance in everyday life. Our first design “Phone Down, Eyes Up, Heart Open” was inspired by a conversation Peter had with renowned photographer, Jay Blakesberg. Predominantly known for his work with the Grateful Dead, his images of free dancing deadheads in the 1970’s evoked a type of bliss that is rare for concerts today, with so many people experiencing the show through the lens of their phone. Since Peter is usually touring around with his band, Goose, he wanted to bring back the freedom seen in Blakesberg’s photography. With his guitar in one hand and keyboard in the other, Peter called up his friend Becky, an architectural designer at the Rhode Island School of Design, to interpret and design the mantra.

Even in this digital age, we believe it is possible for us to fully immerse ourselves in the experiences and moments in front of us. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
